SLEEP
«Sleep» / Neon light installations / 2009
This unit includes projects that attempt to intertwine with the elements of the space that surround it. On the one hand, the light that emerges from the “spatial” limits of the project tries to fulfill a movement from the object to the relationships-interactions that it develops with the space. On the other hand, the reference to a coffin, the anagram of “sleep” and the neon fonts compose a scenery of prismatic light that is lead from the inside to the outside, that tries to narrate or discuss a sense of death, not the biological one, but the one that takes place on a daily basis, a “potential” death.
