Seven hundred and fifty kilometers was the distance covered by the railway network of the Peloponnese at the time of its great prosperity. Today, almost entirely, it is inactive. The 750,000 Meters project involves a multi-day recording of an action on the abandoned network. It is a black and white film based on the following thought: to walk, balancing on all the abandoned rails of the inactive network, following the course of the lines in the Peloponnese. In this way, wanting to listen to their stories, actions are mapped and recorded in unpredictable conditions and situations along the lines, not knowing what I will encounter or what I will face in front of me. As nature has recaptured the rails, inaccessible, inaccessible places and all sorts of obstacles in various places create a path in which you are called to balance to a difficult limit. Taking a look at past roots and children’s toys, between memories from the past and the present, an experiential course takes place, an inner balance.
